Troy Hart
General Manager - joined Pearl Valley in June 2009

Troy has over 15 years working experience in the real estate sector in Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Dubai encompassing asset delivery, development and financial management.

Working on a diversified portfolio of projects such as urban renewal, master planned communities and high rise residential from acquisition, funding, design development and hand over.  In his position of General Manager for Nakheel Communities, he was responsible for the handover and management of 30 000 properties in Nakheel communities which included the Palm Jumeriah, Discovery Gardens, International City and Jumeriah Islands.

He joined Nakheel in 2005 as part of the startup and management team for Nakheel Asset Management (NAM) and in 2008 transferred to take up the senior development management position for One & Only Master planned community in Africa.

Jack Hrad
Jack Hrad, General Manager - Operations; joined Pearl Valley in August 2008.

Jack, who joins from Troon Golf following more than 30 years experience in golf and country club operations across the United States, Asia and the Far East.

Jack has worked in more than 14 countries and successfully developed top-ranked golf clubs in the United States, China and Indonesia. In Hrad’s role at Troon Golf he served at some of their finest facilities including Savannah Harbor, home to the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Senior PGA Tour event, and St. James Plantation, the company’s largest single facility in the United States.

Mike Westman
Mike joined the team at Pearl Valley Golf Estates in April 2004 as Golf Course Superintendent.

Prior to this, Mike joined Golf Data in April 1999 at Mowbray golf club in Cape Town and in May, moved on to Erinvale Golf Estate in Somerset West as an assistant golf course superintendent. Just under a year later in March, Mike was appointed as Head Superintendent; during which he and his team successfully hosted the SAA OPEN in January 2003 and then again in January 2004.

Johan van Vuuren
BComm, BProc, BCom (Acc) Hons, LLB, PGD Tax Law, CIA, ACMA, CA(SA)

Originally from Cape Town, Johan has worked and lived in Johannesburg prior to joining Pearl Valley Golf Estates in July 2004 as Financial Manager. Johan is a CA (SA) with qualifications in management accounting, internal auditing, a completed LLB-degree and a postgraduate diploma in Tax Law.

With extensive experience as the financial director of companies in financial management, property development and golf estate development, Johan is also a certified estate agent, and has been involved with property sales administration.
